“A million?” she teased.
“At least.” He placed a quick kiss on her lips before sitting up, bringing her with him. As they faced one another, Max held her hands. “Ready for one more adventurous night before you’re stuck with just me?”
“Oh, Max, I’ll always love being stuck with you.”
“Hmm.” He grinned and kissed her again before pulling her to her feet. “Let’s get ready.”
Once showered and dressed, Max as casual as ever in shorts and t-shirt, and Violet in only a slip of a dress—no undergarments—they left their cabana to join Tara and Dan for one more night of shared pleasure.
Hand in hand, they strolled leisurely in the sand, the night lit up brilliantly by the full moon. A few steps away from their destination, Max brought them to a stop and turned his wife in his arms. He tenderly framed her face and gave her a deep kiss. When he pulled back, loving the drowsy desire he saw on her face, he gave one more nip. “I love you so much, Violet.”
With her eyes fully open, her smile lit up his world. “I love you so much, too, Max.” After pausing for a moment, she then asked, “Everything okay?”
“Sure. Just wanted to kiss my wife. We walk through that door and it may be a while until I get another chance.” He tried to sound teasing, but a niggling thought in the back of his mind had him hesitating at proceeding. He quickly shoved that aside, readying himself to enjoy one more night of carnal pleasure.
Violet giggled as she looped her arm around his and propelled them forward. “You’re silly. You can kiss me any time.”
He bent down to kiss the top of her head before stepping to the cabana. After knocking, Dan was quickly opening the door and welcoming them inside. “Come in, Tara’s got everything ready for a celebration.”
Max led Violet inside, and they were greeted by a very exuberant Tara. “Hey, hey! Happy anniversary, again.” She hugged them both. When she pulled away, she asked if they wanted champagne. “We got a great bottle and Dan is ready to open it.”
“Absolutely,” Violet said.
While Dan worked on the bottle, Tara grabbed two glasses, and once the cork was popped, frothy goodness poured forth. She caught the golden liquid in each glass and handed them to Max and Violet. She then grabbed two more to fill for herself and her husband. Initiating a toast, she lifted her glass. “Too many more years of adventure and happiness.”
Everyone cheered and took a drink.
“Now, let’s eat.” Tara grinned.
As the couples filled their plates, they got comfortable with the conversation, and before long, they had indulged in finishing off the entire bottle of the bubbly.
Violet excused herself to use the bathroom, wobbling just a bit, and once she left the room, Tara carried on with the conversation. “With all we’ve engaged in, Max, there’s never been play between just you and Dan. Is it because you’d prefer to avoid that, or the situation just never presented itself?”
Max shifted a bit uncomfortably, processing his answer. He didn’t want to offend the couple, but he wanted to be completely honest. “Ah, both, I guess. I haven’t felt the urge to go male on male. No offense, Dan,” he quickly added with a chuckle.
“None taken.” Dan finished the last of his drink and set his glass aside.
“Have you ever had pleasure with a guy?” Tara asked. “Have one fondle you, jerk you off, suck you off, or you return any of those favors?”
Max spewed a bit of his drink at Tara’s blatant questioning. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, getting a little uncomfortable with the direction her questioning. “Uh, no. I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite, I’m all for man and woman, woman and woman, but honestly, I’m not into other men. Again, no offense.” He looked between Tara and Dan, suddenly wishing Violet was here to be his buffer.
Dan laughed and waved Max’s concern away. “Really, no worries. I experimented a bit, but like you, I prefer a woman.” Just then, Violet returned to the room, passing in front of Dan as she headed toward Max. But before she could reach him, Dan surprised her by snagging her around the waist and pulling her to his lap. “Like this beauty.” He playfully nipped her exposed neck while running his hands from her waist up to her breasts, squeezing them through her poor excuse for a dress.
While Violet let out a drunken giggle, Max had to control the urge to rip his wife from the man’s arms, right before he ripped the man’s arms from his body.
What the hell is wrong with me? We’ve been enjoying these two for three days, and now I get jealous?
Was it jealousy? Was it possessiveness? Had he had enough?
It was his anniversary after all, and maybe Max was just ready to have his wife back. Only his wife.
He could see Dan had slipped a hand beneath Violet’s dress, and by the way her head was leaning back against Dan, her mouth parted, her body twisting, he was pleasuring her. Again, Max had the uncontrollable urge to spring up and get the man’s hands away from what was his.
Before another thought entered his mind, Tara was in front of him, blocking his view of Violet in Dan’s lap. “You are wound entirely too tight, Max,” she cooed.
Only this time the sound of her voice suddenly began to grate on him. He tried to relax and offer a polite smile, but knew he was failing. When she hiked up her dress and straddled his lap, her bare pussy flashed as the material bunched at her waist. He sat passively back while her hands landed on his shoulders and began massaging down his chest.
As she reached his shorts, all while staring into his eyes, smiling with what she obviously thought was seduction, she worked them loose and grabbed his dick. A flash of disappointment passed in her eyes as she found him soft. On a mission to change that, she fisted him and stroked, trying to entice an erection.
Only it wasn’t happening. Max had no desire at the moment, no urge to engage in anything sexual with this woman. He looked beyond Tara’s shoulder and saw Dan releasing his own erection. He was trying to lift Violet’s leg and position it between them, clearly intent on fucking her. And by Violet’s reaction, it was clear she was trying to stave off his advances.
Dan barely held himself in control; reigning in his fury before he went ballistic. He grabbed Tara’s wrists and halted her movements before gently lifting her off his lap. Ignoring her confused stare, he pushed past her and went to his wife. He leaned over her and took her offered hands while whispering, “I think I’ll take it from here.” Flashing a knowing look at Dan, as if to say, I don’t fucking think so, he lifted his wife from the man’s lap.
Max pulled Violet into his side, noticing the relieved look she gave only him.
“Sorry, easy to get carried away.” Dan tried to smooth over his actions. Tara had joined her husband’s side, placing her hand on his shoulder. Dan’s hand came up to cover it and looked up at her with the same desire he’d just shown another man’s wife.
Max stopped himself from shaking his head, unable to believe where the night had suddenly gone. He thought he’d been looking forward to sexual pleasure, but now all he could think about was getting himself and his wife away from here and back into their own cabana. Just as he was about to say something lame and makes excuses to leave, Violet spoke out.
“This is going to sound really cliché, but I’ve just developed the worst headache. I’m not used to so much champagne, I guess.” She looked to Max then back to Tara and Dan, toggling between the couple. “I can’t thank you enough for tonight; for all these days, really. It’s been so wonderful. But…”
“But you’d probably prefer to just go rest with your husband,” Tara politely offered. “It is your anniversary, after all.”
Tara walked to Violet and gave her a hug, then repeated the gesture with Max. He returned the act with as much friendliness as he could. When she pulled back, he held one of her hands. “Thank you, Tara. It, it—” As much as he wanted to leave, he didn’t want to end this on a sour note with the couple. They knew nothing of his inner turmoil, and they really didn’t
deserve his anger.
Tara simply nodded as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze before releasing it. “Go enjoy your night.”
Dan stood behind his wife, wrapping an arm around her waist, smiling. “It’s been a pleasure. You know where we’ll be this time next year if you think you want to return.”
“Something to keep in mind,” Max simply offered before looking down at Violet. “Ready?”
“Yes.” She went to the Hardys, giving each another hug before exchanging more pleasantries. “Safe travels home.”
“You as well,” Tara offered.
Max nodded to them before steering Violet out of the cabana and toward their own.

Once inside, Violet plopped on the bed with her eyes closed while she heard Max lock the door. The bed depressed as he joined her, lightly running a finger across her forehead.
“Need something for that headache?”
She opened her eyes and turned to look at her husband. “Only you.” Lifting her hand, she ran her thumb across his strong jaw before cupping his cheek. “Would you think me terrible if I told you I really don’t have a headache?”
His mouth curved in a smile as his eyes lit up and he laughed. “Hell, no. I was trying to come up with excuses for us to leave when you said you had the headache.”
“Really?” She sat up. “You didn’t want to be there, either?”
“No, I really didn’t. I mean, prior to going, sure, I thought I was looking forward to the evening. But as soon as we stepped through the door, maybe even before, I just wanted to turn around, come back, and have you all to myself.”
She grabbed his hands and held them between hers. “Oh, Max, why didn’t you say something? I would’ve understood.”
“Because I thought you wanted it. I mean, you’ve been opening yourself up, and these experiences have been fuckin’ fantastic, and I—”
“You’re my husband, and you’re all that matters.”
“No, Violet. You matter, too.” Max framed her face and kissed her lightly. “I was all for this, and maybe I pushed you too much into trying this. But then you really seemed to like it, and yeah, maybe I started to get jealous. Hell, I did get jealous.”
“Max, you silly man.” She bracketed her hands over his and pulled them into her lap. “I did like it, but I’ve come to realize I don’t need it. All I need is you. And as much as I enjoyed what we experienced with Tara and Dan, when he pulled me into his lap, I really didn’t want to be there. Thank God you rescued me.”
“Fuck, I was ready to tear his limbs from his body for touching you like he did.”
Thanks to the effects of the champagne, Violet giggled. “Really?” She got up on her knees and scooted close to Max’s body, looping her arms around his neck. “My hero.” She kissed him as his arms banded around her waist.
“I’m just a possessive husband who only wants his wife.”
“You’re my world, Max,” she returned softly, kissing him again.
He ran a hand down her ass, lifting the dress away until it exposed her lower body. “This really needs to go.”
She shimmied the dress over her head and tossed it to the floor. Max laid her back on the bed, reverently exploring her body as if she were a prized possession. He trailed his fingers across her skin, eliciting shivers before ending up between her thighs. With a sigh, she parted her legs, allowing him access to her heated core.
He bent to take her mouth in the most gentlest of kisses, lavishing her thoroughly. As he manipulated her clit, ready to have her body register at least a nine on the Richter scale, his mouth moved to her breasts. When Violet attempted to reach for him, Max stopped her. “No, just feel. This is all for you, sweetheart.”
She stretched her hands above her head, arching at his touch. With her body primed and her mind in a fog, she lost herself in the delirium that Max brought on. Just as she was ready to combust, he rose off her, quickly getting naked.
“Max,” she groaned.
“I’m right here, baby.” He towered above her, straddling her. Grabbing her legs and wrapping them around his waist, he then guided his cock to her pussy. Slowly, teasingly, he slid back and forth between her folds, slicking himself before he entered her, seating himself to the hilt and holding there.
“You feel so good deep inside me,” Violet rasped. Her insides squeezed. She lifted her legs until her knees were practically near her own head. She wanted him as deep as he could possibly go.
“Fuck, that’s fantastic,” he ground out. “I’m not going to last long.”
“I don’t want you to. I want you to come inside me so hard.”
“Are you ready for me?” He slowly withdrew, only a fraction before sliding back in.
“My pussy is so hungry for you,” she said, no longer hesitant at her choice of words. “You’re all I need.”
“Show me.” He gyrated his hips, staying buried deep within her.
Violet raked her nails down his abs, reaching between their bodies to touch herself. Her clit was swollen, heated, her entire pussy engorged, just like Max’s beautiful cock. She stroked the sensitive nub, so close to falling apart, so close to flying.
“Yeah, that’s it,” he encouraged. “I feel you getting tighter.” He moved his hips, one stroke, two. “Only you, Violet, only you. Make me come.”
Sighs turned to whimpers then she was gasping for breath as she rubbed herself harder, convulsing as a climax tore through her. Before he could take another stroke, he threw back his head and shouted as he was pushed over the edge, releasing his hot cum into her body. She pulsed and ground against him, drawing out as much pleasure as she could for the both of them.
Violet pulled Max to her chest, needing him closer; just needing him. She knew they were forever changed, and looked forward to another twenty-five years together.
“I love you, wife,” he whispered while peppering her skin with kisses.
“And I love you, husband,” she returned, soaking up his adoration.
Best anniversary ever.
